Clan Information

Affiliation: Amatsu

Name: Kawari

Insignia: The "Kawari Crossroads";
Spoiler:

Hitokuse:

Name: Youzai-no-Kihaku

Description: In general, the members of the Kawari Clan are capable of mimicing other Spirit Warriors in appearance, expression, voice, attitude, and even 1/4th of their abilities' power level (excluding other Hitokuse) that they've witnessed for an extensive amount of time with a simple look of the eye.

Stages:

NOTE: The gaze of the Youzai-no-Kihaku isn't notable, their eyes don't change or alter at all it is activated upon the user's will - they must see the person, animal or object they intend to take the form of! It requires focus to complete the recording of the target.

Stage One: At this stage, the Clansman is able to mimic only wildlife smaller and not proportional to the caster's own form. They can also mimic inanimate objects.

Stage Two: At this stage, the Clansman is able to mimic wildlife larger then themselves, and other Spirit Warriors that are around their size, or shorter, skinnier/fatter individuals. Though the target's mastery over his/her Ki will effect how well the caster can actually benefit from mimicing 1/4th of the target's abilities' power.

Stage Three: At this stage, the Clansman is capable of mimicing quite a lot of forms of wildlife, and is able to mimic 1/4th of the target's Ki techniques' power levels regardless of how superior the target may be in skill to the caster.

Stage Four; Ultimate Form: At this stage, the Clansman can do all of the above, but, instead of only mimicing one target, he/she can mimic three target's at once with simultaneous looks into each of their eyes, effectively combining three Spirit Warriors' aspects, and 1/4th of each's Ki techniques' power levels.

Drawbacks: There are no limits to Stage One except the fact that the more wildlife you turn into, the more Ki they'll be using up. For Stage Two a Clansman may remain as a larger wildlife animal, or switch between animals for 8 of his/her posts with an 8 post cooldown or they can take the form of another person their size or smaller for 8 of his/her posts with an 8 post cooldown. For Stage Three, the Clansman can remain the form of a wildlife animal, or switch between animals for 10 of his/her posts, with a 10 post cooldown or the Clansman can take the form of someone else regardless of their power for 10 of his/her posts with a 10 post cooldown. At Stage Four a Clansman can take the shape of any form of wildlife he/she has seen for 12 of his/her posts with a 12 post cooldown or the Clansman can take form of others for 12 of his/her posts with a 12 post cooldown, or the Clansman can take the form and 1/4th of the abilities of 2-3 targets for 6 of his/her posts with a 12 post cooldown.

Age: 312 Years

Head of Household: Kawari Kishuu, the "little elder" of the Clan, and the leader of the Clan's main household. He has a very bubbly and enthusiastic personality, with a content smile on his face at all times. He is the leader of the main household, and had two sons, who in turn had children - becoming the main household. His cousin families are the secondary households of the Kawari Clan. He stands at 4'10, with a long white full beard, tied in a knot at its end - he has very bush white eyebrows and a big, bulbus nose.

Quantity: Approximately 50

Distinct Features: --

Traditions: At the Spirit Academy of Amatsu, the leaders of the drama program have been members of the Kawari Clan for over 280 years. Every weekend (particularly on a saturday) all of the memebrs of the Kawari Clan are to attend a popular ceremony of great performances and displays of acting and portrayals - this ceremony usually takes place in the center of the Kawari Clan's grounds, but visitors are welcome. Until members of the Kawari Clan reach Stage Three with their Youzai-no-Kihaku, the other members of the Clan personally instruct them (on their own time) of various forms of transformation, so that younger or more inexperienced members of the Kawari Clan are capable of using a variety of forms available to them until they reach Stage Three and can do it on their own more responsibly.

History: The Kawari Clan started as a prominent Clan of capable Spirit Warriors with the ability to remain undetected even with all the attention focused on them, and almost always getting the job done without fail. The recognized founder of the Kawari Clan was actually a woman named Kawari Kiheki, who was known for enjoying every day of her life, yet, understanding all roles of living. She was perfectly content, and it was because of her Hitokuse, that this seemed true. From her came families, and from their families more families, etc... Until the Clan became a powerful force. Whenever a Warlord needed stealth-oriented missions to be done, they'd often always keep the Kawari Clan in mind, since that was and still remains their specialties.

One of the earlier Emperors registered the Kawari Clan as a Clan under the service of his reign, and as time progressed, and Archmagisters formed organizations of Spirit Warriors into countries of them, the Kawari Clan dedicated itself to one of the earliest Archmagisters of Amatsu, and have since then remained as a well-respected, and highly-regarded family of Amatsu.

The reason why their insignia was chosen to be two crossroads intermingled with one another, was because the Clan was originally nomadic in nature, and when they came across four roads, they chose the road to Amatsu above all others - even before their loyalties were tied to anyone. It's an expression of loyalty within the Clan, and the Clansmen are proud of that loyalty.
