Name: Mangetsume
Description: The Mangetsume is a powerful eye-Hitokuse, with clear differences in stages and the abilities that come with those stages. The Mangetsume is feared throughout the land as perhaps the mightiest eye-Hitokuse in all of Amatsu, and its reputation spreads beyond Amatsu as proficient Spirit Warriors of the past, and current age.

Stages:

Stage One; "Crescent Moon": Allows the Kagetsu Clansman to literally see the Ki in others and how much Ki is being prepared and how much Ki is available (safely) to the target. Also, this Stage, allows the Kagetsu Clansman to tell when the target is in a Mind Ki technique, because their Ki flow would be irregular.



Stage Two; "Half Moon": Grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize Mind Ki techniques and different forms of Ki, giving them more of an advantage over breaking out of Mind Ki techniques. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Mangetsume evolves, over time, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.



Stage Three; "Full Moon": The Mangetsume's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through simple eye contact. When used against animals, the eyes of the target take on the phase of the user's Mangetsume while under its influence. When used in conjunction with the other aspects of the Mangetsume, this allows the user to perfectly predict and react to every move their opponents make even before they do, making it appear as if the user can "see the future". More advanced Mangetsume users can take the hypnosis ability even further by tricking or even trapping their opponent within an illusion. It also allows for other forms of hypnotism, such as putting an opponent to sleep, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to fool an opponent. The potency of the Mangetsume's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing Mind Ki.



Gesshoku Mangetsume: Something has to effect the Kagetsu Clansman emotionally during a lunar eclipse, and in addition to that they must already have the Full Moon phase available to them in order to attain this powerful form of Gesshoku Mangetsume. The Gesshoku Mangetsume can grant the user four powerful abilities, which are known as perhaps some of the most powerful Ki Techniques to currently exist. Below are the four abilities:



Name: Kokudo no Mangetsu, the "Moon Realm"
Description: The Kokudo no Mangetsu is activated from the left Gesshoku Mangetsume eye of the user. With simple eye contact with the target it brings them into a black/white realm with a bright light yellow moon overlooking the target. It renders their subconsciounsness under the control of the user, and depending on the level of the user's utilization of Mind Ki, this severe Hitokuse technique can greatly damage someone's mentality, and depending on the strength of its aftermath, can incapacitate the target for an extended period of time, or greatly reduce their power for an extended period of time.
Drawbacks: This powerful Mind Ki technique can only be used 10 times, until it blinds the user's left eye permanently - and the user would lose his/her Mangetsume in that eye.

Name: Raijin, the "Eternal Lightning"
Description: Raijin is activated from the right Gesshoku Mangetsume eye of the user. By using the pupil of the user's right eye as a targeting system, the user can summon crimson red lightning that is capable of electrifying the target(s) for seven days, and seven nights; not only does it last for an extended period of time, but, it devours all other elements and cannot be extinguished.
Drawbacks: This powerful Nature Ki technique can only be used 10 times, until it blinds the user's right eye permanently - and the user would lose his/her Mangetsume in that eye.

Name: Shugotenshi, the "Guardian Angel"
Description: Shugotenshi is activated from both the left and right Gesshoku Mangetsume eyes of the user. A large portion of the Ki structure of the Gesshoku Mangetsume becomes a living entity. The unique Hitokuse Ki is released from the Gesshoku Mangetsume eyes, and it steadily starts with skeletal structure, to muscle tissue, to flesh and then to armor form - if one has mastered their Shugotenshi. The Shugotenshi's appearance varies on the user's own disposition, also, the Shugotenshi's weaponry varies with the user though all Shugotenshi's retain similar levels of power depending on the mastery of the Shugotenshi. When the Shugotenshi is active, it surrounds the user like a barrier, but, the user controls its actions from within it.
Drawback: This powerful technique can only be 5 times before the user is totally blinded in both of his/her Gesshoku Mangetsume eyes.

Name: Izanami, the "Netherworld"
Description: With either the left or the right eye, the user can unleash a forbidden Hitokuse technique called Izanami. When the target is captured by this technique they are engulfed in a black world by sinking into the dark surface. The target is then trapped in complete darkness and constrained before the Goddess of Death, and Ruler of the Netherworld, Izanami. She then uses her hands to tear the target's soul from their body, ending the target's life, and sealing his/her soul away in the Netherworld for all eternity.
Drawback: Once the left or right eye is used for this forbidden technique, it is completely blinded; in other words, this technique can only be used twice.

Age: Approximately 350 Years

Head of Household: Nagi Kagetsu; he has dark grey hair, and is very well-built. Nagi often has a very stern look on his face, and he is very disciplinary being a traditional Head of Household. He expects the best out of his children, and the rest of his Clan, but, even moreso with his children.

Distinct Features

- Hair is usually black, blue-black or dark grey.
- Eyes are dark grey.
- Fewer members have long lines stretching under their eyes.
- The males and females are known to be particularly attractive physically.
- Most of the men keep their hair shorter then longer.
- Men of the Clan traditionally wear high-collared shirts.
- The look from a Kagetsu's eyes can often be made out to be sharp and cold.

Traditions:

- The Clan specializes in Lightning Ki, and are known to have created various Lightning Ki techniques.
- Members of the Clan aren't deemed mature until they can use the Yuuen Rakurai techniqiue.
- The Clan has a secret hideout where Clan leaders all have a conference every two weeks about their status within Amatsu and how to improve it.
- The males of the Clan are the only ones with the right to choose a female member of the Clan, there is no marriage between members of other Clans in order to keep the bloodline pure.
- The Clan has a secret shrine underneath the floors of the Clan Compound's main household.

History: The Kagetsu Clan was (in history) a mighty warrior-Clan of some of the most powerful Spirit Warriors among modern-day Spirit Warriors. The Kagetsu Clan was rivaled only by the Senshin Clan of their time. Whenever one Warlord hired the Kagetsu Clan for missions, and mercenary jobs as well as warfare, the opposing Warlord would hire the Senshin Clan. It wasn't until one of the earliest Archmagister's (a member of the Senshin Clan) decided it was time to unite their powers and fund a Spirit Academy, where gifted individuals like themselves could learn to use their Ki for their nation's defense, depending on their choices made. For that, the Kagetsu Clan is recognized as one of the founding Clan's of the first Spirit Academy in Amatsu.

The Kagetsu Clan has remained suspicious on the background of their allegiance with their long-time rivals, and many of the Clan's earliest leaders suspected that the allegiance had been far more political, since their Hitokuse was feared throughout the Land as a force one shouldn't mess with.

Description: The user molds a ball of lightning in his/her fist, and stretches out his/her arm letting go of the lightning ball. This ball of lightning reveals itself then shoots itself toward an opponent, shortly afterward it explodes with a burst of lightning, greatly damaging all within range of the blast with electricity. The explosion has a 20ft radius.

Name: Heika no Raikou
Description: The user smacks his hands against the ground, and suddenly, six tendrils of lightning appear below the target, and lash at the target within a 12ft radius.

Name: Ryuujin
Description: The user inhales a deep breath as he/she molds quite a lot of Lightning Ki, and then releases a violent beam of lightning scourging all in its path from the user's own mouth. The beam is said to be so bright that it temporarily blinds foes as it is used. The range of this attack is 65ft, and that recedes to 10ft the longer the beam is sustained.

Name: Kashoku Kiken
Description: The user spreads out his/her arms, and swiftly spins in a 360 degree circle on his/her position, and he/she generates a spherical, and whirling barrier of lightning that makes an impressive defense against projectiles and other techniques, as well as a decent offense if an opponent is within range. The radius of this sphere is approximately 15ft wide.

Limitations: This technique cannot be used by the user again until two of his/her posts in a thread.
User(s): Only the E-Rank members of the Clan or higher have been shown capable of using this technique with the greatest control.

Name: Inadzuma Bunshin
Description: An E-Rank leveled user is capable of making 4-6 clones of himself made up entirely of lightning, but with the original's techniques and their potency, and a J-Rank user is capable of making 1-3 clones of himself made up entirely of lightning, but with the original's techniques and their potency.
Perquisite(s): --
Limitations: Each clone can only be kept out for six of the user's posts upon its entrance into the thread, or until the clone itself explodes itself with a burst of vile lightning, or is defeated by another opponent.
User(s): The average Clansmen utilizes this technique, but, more commonly a higher-leveled member of the Clan uses it a lot more sparingly or efficiently.

Name: Kei no Akari
Description: The user can unleash lightning in the form of up to 10 wires, and these lightning wires can coil around an opponent or opponents with skillful use of flexibility and direction. When a target is coiled by various lightning whips, Lightning Ki can be transmitted from the user, to the flesh of the target, and heighten the damage dealt while restraining the target's movements.

Limitations: It takes at least three lightning wires to successfully subdue a target.
User(s): The skillful Spirit Warrior of the Kagetsu Clan is capable of utilizing this technique correctly, but, it is rare to see despite being only J-Rank.
